Rates, booking, required level, equipment... find answers to the most common questions from my clients.
How do I book a lesson with Teddy?
The easiest way is to contact me directly via WhatsApp at +33 7 68 41 11 12. Tell me your level, dates, and number of participants, and I'll send you a personalized quote within 24 hours.
What are the rates for ski lessons?
All my rates are quoted individually because every session is tailor-made. The price depends on duration (1.5h, half-day, full day), type of service (private lesson, off-piste, performance coaching…) and group size. Contact me for a free, no-commitment quote.
What's the difference between a private lesson and a group ski school class?
A private lesson offers 100% dedicated attention: I adapt to your pace, level, and goals. No waiting, no compromises. You progress 3 to 5 times faster than in group lessons thanks to instant video feedback and personalized pedagogy.
How old does my child need to be for lessons?
I welcome children from age 3 for short sessions (1.5h) adapted to their attention span. My pedagogy is play-based: the goal is to transmit the joy of skiing above all. Sessions include medal validation and souvenir photos.
Do I need a minimum level for off-piste skiing?
You should be comfortable on red runs at minimum. I then adapt itineraries to your technical level and snow conditions. All safety equipment (avalanche beacon, shovel, probe) is provided and I train you on its use before every outing.
What's the difference between Tignes and Val d'Isère for skiing?
Tignes is the ideal playground for performance: Grande Motte glacier (3,456m), slalom stadiums, guaranteed snow. Val d'Isère offers a more prestigious atmosphere with the legendary Face de Bellevarde and an authentic village setting. Together, the Espace Killy represents 300km of slopes and 10,000 hectares of off-piste terrain.
What equipment should I bring?
For on-piste lessons: your skis, poles, boots, and a helmet (mandatory for children, strongly recommended for everyone). For off-piste, I provide the full safety pack (beacon, shovel, probe). For the Prestige Experience, I can arrange high-end equipment rental.
Do you teach in English?
Yes, I'm fully bilingual in French and English. A large portion of my clientele is international. My entire website is available in English and lessons are conducted in your preferred language.
What is Dartfish video analysis?
Dartfish is a professional video analysis technology used in the World Cup circuit. I film your runs and we analyze them together in slow motion to identify technical improvements. It's an objective and powerful tool: what you feel isn't always what you're doing.
Can I book for a group or corporate seminar?
Absolutely. I work with a team of certified partner instructors for groups. Fully customized organization: ski activities + adventures (snowmobile, biathlon, dog sledding…), logistics, dining. Contact me for a personalized program.
What are your qualifications?
I hold the Diplôme d'État from ENSA Chamonix (the highest French ski instructor certification from the National School of Skiing and Mountaineering), a Master's degree in Sports Science (STAPS), I'm a member of the French Ski Federation (FFS), and certified in Dartfish video analysis. I also have experience on the Alpine Skiing World Cup circuit.
Are you available during school holidays?
Yes, I'm available 7 days a week throughout the entire ski season (December to May), including school holidays. I recommend booking in advance for peak periods (Christmas, February, Easter) as my slots fill up quickly.
